Today, the Venice Commission has published an opinion (CDL(2019)035), adopted during its last Plenary session last Friday (11 October), on the Constitutional implications of the ratification of the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (Istanbul Convention), by Armenia. Its adoption was preceded by an exchange of views with Mr Rustam Badasyan, Minister of Justice of Armenia.
