Today, Ambassador Jānis KĀRKLIŅŠ, Permanent Representative of Latvia to the Council of Europe, deposited the instrument of ratification of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (CETS No. 210), for Latvia.

The Convention will enter into force as regards Latvia on 1st May 2024.

Latvia becomes the 39th Party of the convention (more).
