GREVIO has launched today a public consultation on its draft General Recommendation on the Digital Dimension of Violence against Women. The feedback from this consultation will feed into the final text of the General Recommendation, which GREVIO is due to adopt in the fall and which is intended for publication before the end of the year.

The issues raised in the consultation relate to GREVIO’s recommendations to States Parties to efficiently address the digital dimension of violence against women under the four pillars (“4 Ps”) of the Istanbul Convention, namely prevention, protection, prosecution and co-ordinated policies.

This consultation will be open for input from stakeholders until 18 June 2021. Interested parties are kindly invited to contact the Secretariat using the contact form indicating their interest in receiving the link to the consultation survey and stating the organisation or entity they are representing.
