The Group of Experts on Action against Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (GREVIO) held its 39th plenary meeting from 29 June to 2 July 2026.
It approved its preliminary first thematic evaluation reports on Georgia, Norway and Switzerland.
GREVIO also adopted its final baseline evaluation report on Latvia and Ukraine and its first thematic evaluation report on Estonia, Malta and Romania, which will subsequently be made public, together with any final comments received from the authorities in September 2026.
As the mandate of four members is coming to an end during the summer, GREVIO thanked Laura ALBU, Ellen O'MALLEY-DUNLOP and Grzegorz WRONA for their contribution to GREVIO’s monitoring work throughout their mandate. In addition, GREVIO thanked Aleid VAN DEN BRINK who served as first and second Vice-President of GREVIO for a total of three years.
Filling the position of Second Vice-President, GREVIO elected, for a period of two-years, Pascale FRANCK, member in respect of Belgium, to this role.
