Erlangen is a city in Bavaria, Germany. It is located north-west of Nuremberg at the confluence of the river Regnitz and its large tributary, the Untere Schwabach. Erlangen has more than 110,000 inhabitants.
In Erlangen, non-nationals represent 16.6% of Erlangen’s total inhabitants. 28% of the population represent migrants of the first, second, and third generation. The largest minority group people is from Turkey.
