The ultimate objective of this work is to produce concise, analytical and reader-friendly reports and facilitate the identification of trends to guide future work and activities.
The Working Group was established by the GEC at its 26th meeting (19-21 November 2024). It will carry out its work in 2025, with the adoption of the new reporting methodology by the GEC planned for its 27th meeting (13-15 May 2025).
According to the Terms of Reference of the GEC for 2024-2027, reporting on the implementation of the Gender Equality Strategy occurs every two years, resulting in three reports over the six-year duration of the Strategy. The first report is scheduled for submission by 30 June 2026.
