On 5 November, a representative of the Execution Department participated in the workshop "A judgment from Strasbourg is not the end!" organised in Warsaw by the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, European Implementation Network and the Open Society Justice Initiative.
The workshop, aiming at the Polish audience, brought together around 50 participants from various professional backgrounds: parliamentarians, judges and prosecutors, lawyers, activists and journalists. Its main aim was to explore opportunities for creating new ways of domestic advocacy for the full and rapid execution of ECHR judgments and to increase the engagement of professional groups of the civil society organisations in the execution process. It was also an opportunity present the translation into Polish of the manual on how to prepare Rule 9 communications prepared by the European Implementation Network.
