On 7-8 February Council of Europe organised a workshop for leading domestic election monitoring organisations on election statement and report writing.

The meeting, led by an Council of Europe international expert, was a follow-up to the training conducted in July 2018 and aimed at discussing lessons learnt from report writing during last elections, major challenges and achievements.

In addition to the joint sessions, the workshop enabled Georgian election watchdogs to meet the Council of Europe expert for individual sessions so as to receive feedback on their latest election statements and final report drafts.

The workshop is being organised within the frame of Council of Europe project “Reform of the Electoral Practice in Georgia”.
