Series of radio programmes on war-related challenges for organisation and conduct of first post-war elections in Ukraine

During three months, the studio guests – experts in the field of electoral law and media, members of the Ukrainian Parliament, members of the Central Election Commission, representatives of profile CSOs and research institutions – discussed the most acute issues related to the preparation to and organisation of the first post-war elections in Ukraine, as well as debunked manipulative election related narratives circulating in media.

Throughout the seven episodes, the first post-war elections were examined from various angles: the historical context with reflections on previous electoral processes, the legal framework for organising and conducting first post-war elections, the availability of electoral infrastructure, cybersecurity aspects, and efforts to counter hostile propaganda. Additionally, the discussions focused on war related changes in electoral demographics, election observation, and the importance of first post-war elections for Ukraine's democratic development, particularly regarding the trust in election results and their legitimacy.
