Council of Europe to discuss training curricula and communication strategy of the Centre for Continuous Electoral Trainings (CCET)

The Centre for Continuous Electoral Trainings (CCET) training needs assessment report and the CCET communication strategy were discussed at an expert working group meeting that took place in Strasbourg, on 2–3 December 2015.

The meeting allowed for the finalisation of the CCET communication strategy for 2015–2018 providing a conceptual and structured framework and CCET tools for communication with mass-media, key stakeholders, including the civil society, local public administration (LPA) and trainers.

The discussion with regard to the training curricula and training needs allowed to identify a number of shortcomings and to formulate recommendations with particular focus on improving CCET capacities in the post-election period as a research institute, but also in pre-election periods A list of priority activities for 2016 was agreed during the meeting.
