Strengthening Civil Participation and Digital Literacy among Rural Youth from Highland Mountain Regions of Georgia

The project aims to support participatory democracy and digitalisation in highland areas of Georgia (Mtskheta Mtianeti and Kvemo Kartli regions) through fostering digital literacy among rural youth and exploring possibilities and threats of using digitalization as a tool to strengthen good governance an active citizenship at a municipal level. The main activity is a training course for 25 young people from the target regions. They will form an initiative group which then develops recommendations, that are presented to local authorities at round-table discussions.
