On 19 November, from 9:00 to 13:00, the Council of Europe welcomes an academic conference on the topic of the modernised Convention 108 and its potential to become the future global standard on data protection.

Sponsored by Computer Law and Security Review, this conference will gather, around Professor Alessandro Mantelero from the Politecnico Torino, researchers and professors from big universities from Europe but also the United States and the Asia-Pacific region, which proves the interest that Convention 108+ continues to triggers far beyond the European borders.
