The Bureau of the Committee of Convention 108 held its 53rd session

The Bureau of the Committee of Convention 108 held its 53rd session from 28 to 30 September, for three days, remotely.

The Bureau pursued the works of the 41st plenary meeting of Committee on topical subjects mentioned in its 2020-2021 Work plan, notably developing guidelines on digital identity, on inter-state exchanges of data for Anti-Money Laundering/Countering Financing of Terrorism, and tax purposes, on the processing of personal data by organisations in charge of political campaigns, on Article 11 of Convention 108+, on contractual clauses in the context of transborder data flows. It also examined the documents concerning the future evaluation and review mechanism of the modernised Convention 108.

Furthermore, this meeting gave the winner of the 2021 Stefano Rodota Award, Gabriel Kasper, the opportunity to present the work for which he was granted the prize this year, on People analytics in Private-law Employment Relationships.
