Convention 108 and its additional Protocol regarding supervisory authorities and transborder data flows enter into force in respect of Cabo verde and Mexico this Monday 1st of October 2018, bringing the total number of Parties to the Convention to 53 countries.
Together with the countries participating as observers in the Committee of Convention 108, it’s 70 countries that work together in Strasbourg on the rights to privacy and data protection.
The forthcoming Plenary meeting which will be attended as members by the representatives of Cabo verde and Mexico will be held from 20 to 22 November in Strasbourg.
