Webinar: “Covid-19 and the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe: Impacts and Responses”

On 28 May, the webinar “Covid-19 and the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe: Impacts and Responses” was held with the participation of representatives of the 38 certified Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe. The event was organized by the EPA Secretariat and the European Institute of Cultural Routes.

The aim of the initiative was to discuss the results of the survey sent to Cultural Routes by the Secretariat in order to evaluate the preliminary impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on networks, and the strategies put in place by the certified Cultural Routes to face this unprecedented situation.

Nearly 50 representatives of the 38 certified Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, together with other experts, such as from the United Nations World Tourism Organization, took part in the webinar, in which common challenges to be faced were discussed.
