Association des Amis des Sites de Trois-Fontaines (Association of the Friends of the Site of Trois-Fontaines) Abbaye de Trois-Fontaines Place du Château FR-51340 Trois-Fontaines-l’Abbaye
The Abbey of Trois-Fontaines is a former Cistercian monastery founded in 1118. It was the first daughter abbey of Clairvaux under Saint Bernard. With the French Revolution, the monastery buildings were and used as a stone quarry. Since 1965 an association of volunteers (Association des Amis des Sites de Trois-Fontaines) has been working to preserve and promote the former Cistercian site (https://www.cister.net/abbayes/fr/29/trois-fontaines).
