On Tuesday, 27 January 2026, the 3rd edition of the “Cultural Routes with Experiences” conference was held in Bratislava, Slovakia, organised by the Cyril and Methodius Route. The event took place at the Cathedral of St. Martin, a historic venue renowned for its role as a European coronation city, connecting several Cultural Routes involved in the conference.
The meeting was attended online by Rui Gomes, Executive Secretary of the Enhanced Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes (EPA) and Director of the European Institute of Cultural Routes (EICR). In his address, he highlighted the significance of shared European history and its relevance for contemporary society.
Representatives from the Via Habsburg, Santiago de Compostela Pilgrim Routes, Saint Martin of Tours Route, Romea Strata, and the Coronation Route participated as panelists, contributing their perspectives and experiences.
This year’s conference was held in an excellent cooperative atmosphere, reflecting the values of the Cultural Routes programme and fostering dialogue and collaboration between different routes.
