Back Training of Trainers on economic crime and corruption related investigations for Kyrgyz authorities

The Project to Strengthen Prevention and Combating Corruption in Kyrgyzstan organised a two-day Training of Trainers (ToT) on economic crime and corruption-related investigations for a group of law enforcement officers on 27-28 April in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The objective of the ToT was to strengthen the capacity of General Prosecutor Office and State Service on Fighting Economic Crimes to investigate economic and corruption-related crimes by establishing of pool of trainers equipped with skills and knowledge to deliver such training.

The ToT participants acquired and improved their knowledge on intelligence and its use in anti-corruption cases; the opening stage of investigations; special investigative means; international co-operation and mutual legal assistance; the court trial stage and freezing and confiscation. The participants appreciated the interactive methods of the training and the use of case studies for each topic.
