On 28 and 29 March 2019, members of the inter-ministerial Working Group mandated to draft the Law on Targeted Financial Sanctions met in Istog, Kosovo* to discuss with the Council of Europe expert the compatibility of the current draft Law with European and international standards and more specifically Recommendations 6 and 7 of the Financial Action Task Force. During this activity, the Working Group finalised the Draft Law by reflecting to a large extent recommendations provided by the Council of Europe expert and contributions of different institutions. The Law is expected to be submitted into the formal legislative process by May 2019.
