According to its terms of reference, the Committee of Experts is composed of 14 members : 10 representatives, five on behalf of the CDPC, and five of the CDADI, of the highest possible rank in the fields of criminal law and policy, including crime prevention, victims’ rights and criminal justice, as well as equality, non-discrimination and inclusion policies, designated by the plenaries of the CDPC and the CDADI; and four independent experts, with established expertise in these fields, which are appointed by the Secretary General.
