Between 27 February and 5 March 2026, representatives of the Ombudsperson’s Office of the Republic of Moldova participated in a series of Training of Trainers sessions aimed at strengthening the institution’s internal capacity to design and deliver human rights training activities.
The programme was conceived as an introductory course during which participants were introduced to the principles of adult learning, participatory methodologies and key Training of Trainers techniques, enabling them to structure and deliver training sessions tailored to different professional audiences.
The sessions combined theoretical inputs with practical exercises, group work, presentations and peer feedback, allowing participants to test and apply interactive training methods in a structured learning environment.
This activity was organised within the framework of the Council of Europe project “Support to the Office of the Ombudsperson in the Protection of Human Rights in the Republic of Moldova – Phase I”, and aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Ombudsperson’s Office to promote education on human rights and fundamental freedoms.
