Increasing awareness of and access to justice for vulnerable groups in the Republic of Moldova

As part of its activities to promote the protection of human rights and equal opportunities for all, the Council of Europe is launching a campaign in the Republic of Moldova with a view to raising awareness among the public about the access to justice for all and without discrimination. It highlights the rights of court users in the process of justice delivery, namely the rights of several disadvantaged groups – persons with disabilities, minors, and refugees. In the context of this campaign, thematic materials such as banners, audio and video spots, have been developed and are disseminated or broadcast online or in the mass-media.

This campaign was developed based on the conclusions outlined in a Report on strengthening access to courts for vulnerable groups in the Republic of Moldova.

This activity is conducted within the framework of the Project “Support to further strengthening the efficiency and quality of the judicial system in the Republic of Moldova”, funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe in their Partnership for Good Governance II.
