Competition on courts’ performance in the Republic of Moldova launched with the support of CEPEJ

A competition aiming at discovering and highlighting innovative and efficient practices concerning the functioning of justice, judicial procedures or the organisation of courts is to be conducted for the first time in Moldova in 2022. It is expected to encourage the proactive management, innovations and continuous improvements of the services provided by courts and should become an annual event of the justice system in Moldova. The first meeting of the Working Group tasked to develop the regulation for conducting a competition took place online, on 3 February 2022, with the participation of the representatives of the Superior Council of Magistracy, Agency for Court Administration, National Institute of Justice, national courts.

This activity is organised within the framework of the Project “Support to further strengthening the efficiency and quality of the judicial system in the Republic of Moldova”, funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe in their Partnership for Good Governance II.
