The conference will also be the occasion to launch the new website Living Democracy which has been developed by Zurich University of Teacher Education in cooperation with the Council of Europe.
The event is organised in cooperation between the Council of Europe, Zurich University of Teacher Education and the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs of Greece which will be hosting the event. It has been made possible by a generous financial contribution by the Government of Switzerland (State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation SERI).
The participants include the members of the Education Policy Advisors Network of the Council of Europe (EPAN), EPAN lead experts, Council of Europe authors of publications, Zurich University experts, teacher trainers, practitioners, policy makers, school representatives.
