On 13 January I presented to the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers a summary of my exchanges and interventions during the first two months of my mandate. My report received broad support from ambassadors and I am grateful for the constructive comments I received on the phenomenon of increasing antisemitic, anti-Muslim and anti-Christian hatred. The next step will to develop a concrete work programme in consultation with both internal bodies and external experts. As part of this consultation I propose to hold an event under the German Presidency to which one or several experts are invited to share their experience in our common effort to combat all forms of racist and anti-religious hate crimes.
