The Council of Europe is pleased to announce the fourth ratification of the Protocol amending Convention 108, which delivered in 2018 the long awaited Convention 108+. The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the Council of Europe transmitted its ratification instrument to the Secretary General, Ms Marija Pejčinović Burić.

The entry into force of Convention 108+ is crucial in the digital age and many other ratifications should hopefully take place this year to enable the rapid entry into force of this modernised landmark instrument.
