Natečaj v pisanju esejev z naslovom

Tema:
»Kako si predstavljate evropskega državljana prihodnosti«. Ta splošni naslov naj bi spodbudil domišljijo otrok, hkrati pa omogočal bolj poglobljeno obravnavo.
Dolžina:
Esej naj obsega največ 1000 besed.
Udeleženci:
Otroci in mladostniki v starosti od 10 do 18 let.
Žirija:
Eseje je sprejemala in ocenila državna komisija. Pri njeni izbiri sta bila upoštevana zastavljena tema in dejstvo, da natečaj sodi v okvir prireditev ob 60. obletnici Sveta Evrope.
Nagrada:
Zmagovalci iz posameznih držav so prejeli diplomo Sveta Evrope in bili povabljeni na podelitev 1. oktobra 2009, ob proslavi 60. obletnice Sveta Evrope v Strasbourgu.
