Round table on Anti-Discrimination issues for Albanian Legal Professionals

Following the delivery of the first three modules of the online CoE HELP Anti-discrimination course for the Albanian legal professionals of the Commissioner for Protection from Discrimination, the People’s Advocate, the Ministry of Social Welfare and Youth and several NGOs; a round table took place in Tirana, Albania on 10 November 2016.

The round table was organized in the context of the EU/CoE Joint Programme “Enhancing the effectiveness of the Albanian system of Human Rights Protection and Anti-discrimination”, in close cooperation with HELP in the Western Balkans and Turkey Programme.

The purpose was to allow course participants to discuss details, raise issues and check understanding of what they have learned so far, in order to ensure correct and unified comprehension of discrimination and all related issues. The Joint Programmes’s national consultants and tutors led the round-table and ensured that all course details were fully clarified to all attendees.
