Ms Marta Cartabia, President of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, presented the Commission's Amicus curiae brief on whether democracy is a human right at the public hearing of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. The Inter-American Court had requested this amicus curiae brief in March 2025.
