In solidarity with annual international awareness-raising initiative “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence” the staff of the Council of Europe Programme Office in Skopje is wearing orange to support and thus join this global movement for the elimination of violence against women.

The initiative kicks off every 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.
It aims to ensure global action to increase awareness, galvanise advocacy efforts and share knowledge and innovations to end violence against women.
