Launching of the HELP course on Property Rights for judges from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro

A kick off meeting was organised in Sarajevo to launch the distance learning course on property rights for judges of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro. This activity is part of the project "Reinforcing the capacity of the judiciary to apply European human rights standards at the national level in Bosnia and Herzegovina". The meeting was organised in cooperation with the Judicial and Prosecutorial Training Centre of Federation from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the similar institution from Republika Srpska.  

This distance learning tool has been developed under the Council of Europe Programme for Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals (HELP). Mr Sergey Dikman, Project Coordinator, and Ms Valentina Boz, Project Manager of ‘’HELP in the Western Balkans and in Turkey’’, both representing the Council of Europe, presented the Programme itself and the methodology for its implementation. Mr Filippo Fontanelli, co-author of the Property Rights Course, described the outline of the e-learning course on property rights. Ms Ljiljana Mijovic, the course tutor, presented the national legislation on property rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
