HELP Refugee and Migrant Children
The main partners and beneficiaries of the Project are national training institutions and bar associations from targeted countries. The direct beneficiaries are legal professionals (judges, lawyers, prosecutors) and other professionals working with refugee and migrant children. The latter are the ultimate beneficiaries.
The main aim is enhancing the protection of refugee and migrant children, mainly thanks to:
- Better equipped legal professionals assisting them.
- Empowered empowerment by access to child-friendly legal support, information and procedures.
The following results are expected:
- Trained professionals working with migrant and refugee children implement child-friendly migration-related procedures and rights, age assessment and guardianship guidelines, effective family reunification practices and alternatives to detention.
- Development of the online course on Refugee and Migrant Children and for national versions of the course available for free in the HELP online platform.
