Insight. Impact - an Educational Toolkit to combat gender-based violence - International Union of Socialist Youth (IUSY)


This compendium/toolkit is intended to support youth organisations and their members in conducting activities combating gender-based violence. It was produced with contributions from the participants to the 2025 annual work plan project "InsightImpact: Addressing gender-based violence globally" implemented by IUSY with financial support of the European Youth Foundation. Through reflection on personal biases, privileges, and internal structures, participants examined how societal norms and power dynamics contribute to gender-based violence.

Intersectional Measures Promoting Advocacy, Collaboration, and Transformation (IMPACT Booklet) - Organising Bureau of European School Student Unions (OBESSU)


This Booklet is a compendium of practices and activity reports responding to the alarming rollback of minorities’ rights across Europe and the weakening of intersectional approaches in public discourse. The findings presented therein are the result of the 2025 OBESSU’s project IMPACT (Intersectional Measures Promoting Advocacy, Collaboration, and Transformation), funded by the European Youth Foundation through an annual work plan grant.

With rising attacks on the rights of women, migrants, and minorities, and growing divides in how feminist issues are understood across countries, IMPACT aims to strengthen OBESSU and its Member Organisations’ capacities to promote gender equality through an intersectional lens.

Toolkit to Work on Gender, Sexuality and Human Rights - Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service

The toolkit is a tool to promote the work on gender, sexual orientation and body autonomy in international youth camps. The first part consists of an introductory workshop on the main topics; the second part gathers examples of workshops to do with participants of international workcamps. PIL EQ - Building Caring Music Ecosystems: A toolkit for Youth Music Leaders, Teams, and Organisations - JM International (JMI)

Produced in the framework of JMI's 2025 annual work plan project "PIL! EQ", this toolkit addresses inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA) topics in the musical sector. The toolkit can be used to support group discussions with young people, facilitators, or teams as a starting point for reflection and dialogue on IDEA. It can also be used as a self-check tool when designing, reviewing, or evaluating projects and organisational practices. Finally, it can strengthen abilities to advocate for IDEA and care-centred approaches in your everyday work and decision-making.

Pride House Toolkit: Empowering the LGBTQIA+ Community Through Knowledge, Creativity, and Connection - LGL National LGBT Rights Organization


The Pride House Toolkit! was developped as an output of the EYF-supported project "Pride House: Human Rights Education for Young People by Young People" implemented by LGL. It contains valuable knowledge collected during the 19 Pride House events organised during Baltic Pride 2025 by LGL. ​Guidelines on Media Representation of Persons with Disabilities - European Network on Independent Living (ENIL Youth Network)

 

These guidelines were produced in the framework of the “Crip, Cut, Rewrite” International Summer school organised by ENIL Youth Network through their annual work plan 2025 supported by the EYF. The purpose of these guidelines is to guide young professionals and stakeholders on how to portray stories of persons with disabilities in the media, based on the human rights approach and informed by the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, ensuring that:

  • Representation of disabled people is created with mutual understanding, empathy, and respect,
  • Authentic stories of young persons with disabilities are promoted and advocate for accessible and inclusive media content,
  • Tips from young persons with disabilities and young emerging media professionals are taken into account.

"Surviving politics - a well-being guide for young politicians" - International Federation of Liberal Youth (IFLRY)


This guide for young politicians created by the International Federation of Liberal Youth is the result of a year-long project supported by the EYF. It responds to a political moment in which youth civil society is increasingly recognised as essential to democratic resilience under the Council of Europe’s Reykjavík Declaration and the New Democratic Pact for Europe

Publication “From the Sidelines to the Playing Field: LGBTQI Youth Perspectives on Inclusion in School and Community Sport” by the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer and Intersex (LGBTQI) Youth & Student Organisation (IGLYO)


 

In the framework of their EYF-funded 2025 annual work plan, IGLYO has developed a qualitative study documenting LGBTQI young people's lived experiences in school and community-based sports.

The publication presents the main findings structured around thematic topics and integrates examples of promising practices that aim to inform action at European, national and local levels. It also puts forward concrete recommendations for policymakers, sport institutions, educational actors, and youth organisations to ensure that sport remains a space where the human rights of every young person - regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or sex characteristics - are fully respected.

Rebuilding Ukraine: A Youth Policy Agenda for Recovery and EU Accession – The European Youth Parliament (EYP)

The publication is the flagship outcome of the Rebuild Ukraine Ambassadors Programme, a youth-driven initiative supporting Ukraine’s sustainable reconstruction and its path towards EU accession. The 2025 edition of the Rebuild Ukraine Lab was possible with financial support of the EYF, where participants engaged in research, consultations with experts, and collaborative policy development across borders, aimed at involving young people from Ukraine and across Europe in shaping future policy action through sectorial recommendations.

The Youth Policy Agenda for Recovery and EU Accession stands as both a policy contribution and a call to political stakeholders to ensure that youth perspectives remain central to shaping Ukraine’s recovery and European future.
