At a Regional Workshop in Tbilisi, the representatives of  Eastern Partnership countries of Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine discuss emerging regional trends, and common and country specific challenges in tackling corruption risks in the public procurement.

These issues and recommendations for measures aiming reduction of corruption-risks at regional level and for each country – were identified through a Corruption Risk Assessment in Public Procurement systems of Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine in 2017. The assessment was conducted as part of the EU/CoE Partnership for Good Governance Regional Project “Fight against Corruption and Fostering Good Governance/Fight Against Money-Laundering”.

Beyond country specific issues, the regional workshop allows the participants representing procurement agencies, other authorities involved in procurement and civil society organisations to exchange national experiences with their peers, especially on advanced practices, and to learn about weaknesses  common across the four assessed countries.
