On 9 July 2026, CEPEJ experts presented support plans to the heads of the five pilot courts: the Casablanca Administrative Court, the Fez Commercial Court, the Rabat Court of First Instance, the Rabat Court of Appeal and the Marrakesh Court of First Instance.
The CEPEJ experts and court officials reviewed the findings arising from the court visits and agreed on the priority areas for action for each court. Whilst promoting cross-cutting themes such as the simplification of the process for serving court documents or the monitoring of expert reports, specific activities were proposed for each court, aimed at addressing the needs of each jurisdiction in a practical and tailored manner. Judicial communication, mediation in administrative matters and training in the use of artificial intelligence are thus among the priority activities to be rolled out in the pilot courts over the coming months.
This activity was organised under the MA-JUST programme, “Towards more protective, accessible and efficient justice”, co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe.
