On 21 October 2026 in Fez, the CEPEJ organised a workshop on judicial communication for the Fez Commercial Court, in collaboration with the French National School for the Judiciary.
The workshop brought together judges, prosecutors and court clerks to discuss the fundamental principles of judicial communication, relations with the media and communication in crisis situations.
Discussions and practical exercises provided an opportunity to explore ways of anticipating sensitive situations, responding appropriately to media enquiries and conveying clear, consistent and reliable messages, whilst respecting the institutional framework and the principles of judicial independence and impartiality.
Through this support, the CEPEJ continues to assist the Moroccan pilot courts in their efforts to achieve a more effective and high-quality justice system.
This activity was organised under the MA-JUST programme, “Towards more protective, accessible and efficient justice”, co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe.
