European Union ratifies the Council of Europe Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence

On 15 May 2026, on the occasion of the 135th Session of the Committee of Ministers held in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, and in the presence of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, the European Union ratified the Council of Europe Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law (CETS No. 225).
