Back The Festival of World Traditions, an open window on diversity in Sherbrooke

The Festival of World Traditions (FTMS) is held in Sherbrooke every summer. Since its inception in 1998, the festival has been an intercultural gathering offering a number of spectacular and participatory activities for all audiences. Fostering interethnic harmony by promoting and celebrating world traditions is a central priority for this event. It focuses on and attaches particular importance to differences and to the family dimension, while promoting values such as openness, respect, commitment, professionalism and team spirit. The Festival thus contributes to community fulfilment and also enables traditions to cross both the generation gap and the cultural divide. As a place where discoveries, surprises and happy encounters all happen, the Festival is a unique showcase of the world and an open window on diversity.
