Maimu Berezkina is a Web Advisor at the Norwegian Directorate of eHealth. She works with multilingual web content management, analytics and user testing, and is among other things responsible for the creation of language policy guidelines for digital communication on helsenorge.no, Norway's main health website. Berezkina holds a PhD degree from the Center for Multilingualism in Society across the Lifespan (MultiLing) at the University of Oslo. Her doctoral project focuses on the use of different languages in state communication in Estonia and Norway, and draws attention to public sector websites as an important arena for investigating top-down language policy in highly digitized countries.
