On the occasion of the 45th session of the Congress, the Chamber of Local Authorities and the Chamber of Regions each elected a new President, as well as seven Vice-Presidents.

The Chamber of Local Authorities elected Bernd VOEHRINGER (Germany, EPP/CCE) as President and Carla NUNES TAVARES, (Portugal, SOC/G/PD), Xavier CADORET (France, SOC/G/PD), Jani KOKKO (Finland, SOC/G/PD), Martine DIESCHBURG-NICKELS (Luxembourg, ILDG) , Sevdia UGREKHELIDZE (Georgia, EPP/CCE) Oksana DERKACH (Ukraine, EPP/CCE) , and Konstantinos KOUKAS (Greece, EPP/CCE) as Vice-Presidents.

The Chamber of Regions elected Tunç SOYER (Türkiye, SOC/G/PD) as President and Gunn Marit HELGESEN (Norway, EPP/CCE), Lia MONTALTI (Italy, SOC/G/PD), David ERAY (Switzerland, EPP/CCE), Randi MONDORF (Denmark, ILDG), Harald SONDEREGGER (Austria, EPP/CCE), Andrew BOFF (United Kingdom, ECR)  and Mario FAVA (Malta, SOC/G/PD)  as Vice-Presidents.
