Third party organisations are invited to submit comments on States Parties reports

In line with the decision of the Ministers’ Deputies adopted on 27 September 2022, concerning the new system for the presentation of reports under the European Social Charter, the European Committee of Social Rights and the Governmental Committee of the European Social Charter and the European Code of Social Security have established a set of targeted questions addressed to States Parties that have accepted the collective complaints procedure.

As per this decision, States Parties are required to submit a report every four years, focusing on provisions from one of two designated groups of articles in the Charter. For the current reporting cycle, States Parties concerned are expected to address questions related to the first group of articles*.

The deadline for States Parties for the submission of these reports was the 31st of December 2025. These reports can be found on the European Social Charter web site under country profiles.

The European Committee of Social Rights (ECSR) invites third party organisations to submit comments on State Parties reports by 30 June 2026.

Comments on national reports can be submitted to the Secretariat of the European Social Charter, in one of the official languages of the Council of europe (English or French), by email ([email protected]) or by mail at the following address:
