Description

The Museum of Industry in Ghent (formerly known as MIAT - Museum of Industry, Work and Textiles) is dedicated to the industrial history of the Region, with a specific focus on textile manufacture, the driving force behind the industrial development of the city. MIAT is located in the former Filature Desmet-Guéquier.
The Museum of Industry in Ghent is an Anchor Point of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
