Description

The Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia, ZVKDS performs professional and administrative tasks in the field of tangible and intangible cultural heritage in all its forms. By taking into account spatial units and values of the cultural environment, the Institute combines knowledge from basic disciplines (archaeology, architecture, ethnology, landscape architecture, history, technical history, art history, urban history and history) into innovative and theoretical approaches in conservation, restoration and preventive archaeology.
