The Association of the Friends of Filitosa (est. 1984) works to protect, study, promote and spread the knowledge of the archaeological heritage of Southern Corsica, and particularly of the site of Filitosa. The archaeological site of Filitosa is a vast architectural ensemble comprising a Cyclopean enclosure and Torrean monuments. The site, famous for its anthropomorphic menhirs, was inhabited between the Neolithic and the Early Bronze Age.
