- Description
- The AEM Foundation (est. 2007) preserves and enhances the historical memory and corporate culture of AEM (today A2A). For over a century, the Municipal Electricity Company (AEM, Azienda Elettrica Municipale) was in fact a protagonist of the economic development and modernization of Milan and Lombardy Region.
Headquarter of the AEM Foundation is the House of Energy and Environment (Casa dell’Energia e dell’Ambiente), an old electric substation in Milan transformed into an interactive energy museum for the school and a place dedicated to the promotion of its historical archives.
