Back World views in the classroom. A practice with Leo the African

This training unit encourages teachers to acquire knowledge, values, new competences and skills to deal with the diversity of world views and knowledge in the classroom. Participants learn the concept of world views and then focus on the student’s world view to gain awareness of the difference between what we teach and what they understand. Other activities will make them question their own views on the possibility of teaching students with conflicting world views.

The unit, developed within the Pestalozzi Programme, can be used at initial or in-service training of teachers of Secondary education.
