Training for law enforcement in Armenia on identifying and investigating hate crimes

Police officers, prosecutors and investigators (25) completed a two-day training on effective law enforcement responses to hate crimes in Armenia. The participants have been equipped with the essential skills to identify and investigate hate-motivated incidents and ensure justice and protection for victims, in line with the key Council of Europe standards, including the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights.

Led by two experienced trainers, specialised in combating hate crimes and discrimination, the training provided a comprehensive understanding of sensitivity of hate-motivated incidents and violence against minority groups and relating responses.
