This session will present the findings of the civil society survey presented in June 2026 and will bring together reflections on demographic change, political participation and intergenerational dialogue, exploring how democratic foresight exercises focused on intergenerational solidarity can reinforce democratic resilience.

It will ask: How can democratic institutions anticipate the long-term consequences taken today in themes relating to youth, pensions, health care?
