This session will analyse to what extent local authorities’ inclusion policies currently serve as a strategic lever for preventing democratic divides, reducing inequalities, and strengthening social cohesion to enhance democratic security.
It will ask: what are the main challenges faced at local level, the current responses to these challenges, and how must these responses evolve to remain relevant in the face of social, technological and geopolitical transformations?
