A study visit to Norway was organised for the Central Election Commission of Georgia on Information Technology and Elections Management on 2 - 5 July.

The visit brought the opportunity to the participants to discuss Norwegian electoral process at different levels, with a focus on information technology in elections management. The delegation met representatives from the Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation, the Secretariat of the Election Act Committee, the Norwegian Directorate of Elections, the Local Election Administration of Drammen, the Secretariat of the Election Board in Viken County, and counties conducting elections and the National Security Authority of Norway. The concluding meeting took place at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs discussing the outcomes and the future perspectives of bilateral cooperation with regard to electoral matters.
